There’s this single guy down the street; let’s call him Joe, and he’s got all the neighbors’ tongues wagging. From what we can figure out, Joe makes a decent income but spends like there’s no tomorrow, you know what I mean? A real “champagne taste on a beer budget” kind of guy.

“The Spending is Nuts” is an inspired animated 5 min video from Power Line. I believe this deserves to go viral, so here’s my part and I’ll leave the rest up to you.

This is without question one of the most interesting and entertaining (read educational but funny) videos I’ve seen on the topic of insane government spending.

We posted House Speaker John Boehner’s letter issued late Friday wherein he announced that he was ending debt ceiling discussions with the White House. Saturday morning, Mr. Boehner was (insert surprised look here) back in the White House and is again apparently preparing to compromise the will of the American people.
