Nearly three full years removed from the day Barack Obama assumed control of the office he asked for and was granted, Mr. Obama and his surrogates continue to state that he “Inherited” the current mess in which the nation is deeply mired.

America — and Washington, D.C., in particular — is mired in angst and frustration.

As our nation’s economy and morality declines ever further, people demand answers as lawmakers play the blame game.

One person seeking to escape culpability is President Obama. That could be the undoing of the man and his movement.

Certainly, Obama cannot be saddled with everything that’s going on right now. Many current ills have existed for decades and will likely continue to pester society as solutions remain elusive.

So, Mr. Obama is going to give the big job creation speech before Congress on Thursday night. Hmm…

Up front, let’s be clear that it is not the federal governments right or place to “create” private sector jobs. Nor is it the federal government’s right or place to unconstitutionally interfere with the private sector.

Concerns Raised Over Potential Leaks Of Classified Info By Obama Administration To Filmmakers

Aroused by an August 6 New York Times (NYT) article by left-leaning Op/Ed Columnist Maureen Dowd, the House Committee on Homeland Security on Tuesday sent a letter to the Inspectors General of the Defense Department and the CIA requesting they investigate the Obama administrations reported leaking of classified information to Hollywood filmmakers.

Dowd caught the attention of the Homeland Security Committee by reporting in the article that “The moviemakers are getting top-level access to the most classified mission in history from an administration that has tried to throw more people in jail for leaking classified information than the Bush administration.”
