     I am often puzzled by the impassioned discourse among people of conservative and libertarian philosophies. The sometimes curiously vitriolic banter seems more often instigated by a perceived great divide that, fundamentally, isn’t all that great after all.

     It seems a bit odd for a nation wherein many now embrace control by and dependence upon centralized government to celebrate it’s founders rejection of-get this-control by and dependence upon centralized government.
